Dhareeba portal is an integrated digital platform of the General Tax Authority (GTA) for managing tax transactions in the State of Qatar. It automatically calculates and process the various types of tax to assist taxpayers in managing their tax transactions, in accordance with the Qatar tax laws.
All taxpayers carrying out activities in Qatar must register in the Dhareeba portal and apply for a tax card Immediately after the registration date of either the commencement of activities or the date of registration with the Commercial Register of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. A penalty of QR20,000 is imposed for failure to register with the GTA on the stated deadline or to maintain a valid tax card.
